Ida & Johan | Engagement Shoot | Pearl Valley

I first met sweet Ida when she did my makeup for my boudoir shoot last year - and you'd be hard-pressed to find a more bubbly, endearing & gorgeous girl! :) She runs her own incredibly successful hair & makeup business - in fact, if you're looking for your wedding, she's your lady! (website here). Johan is a professional golfer - a very good one at that! - and travels all over the country regularly for tournaments :)

We spent an amazing afternoon golf-carting around Pearl Valley estate to shoot these images :) I LOVE how Ida came fully-loaded with props and outfits - you'll see what I mean :)

They're getting married next year in Caledon and the phenomenal Lizelle Lotter will be photographing their wedding - cannot wait to see the images! :)

Ida & Johan, thank you so much for the honor of choosing me to shoot your engagement images - it was a blast and I hope you love them as much as I do! :)
xx
How gorgeous is Ida's Zara dress?!

So comfortable and clearly 'at home' in each others' arms :)

 Ida's beautiful ring!
With a nod to the golf man ;)

Exquisitely beautiful Ida - seriously, this girl's skin doesn't even require a lick of editing! And look at her eyes!!

 Beautiful jacaranda blossoms!

 Oh work it!

Oh I love a man who can make his lady laugh :)
 Models!
 Super suave Johan!

Then we went down to the horsies :)
Oh field light makes me happy!

Some Ross Burnham Photography images ;) That man is a sucker for a flash!

Love these of Ida in the soft light with the golden grass = swooooon.

HAHA! We raced the boys back to the house and thanks to some sneaky moves on Ida's part - WE WON!! Girl power ;)
