Charlie & Armand | 13 October 2012 | Erinvale Estate Hotel

You'll remember these gorgeous two from their sneak peek :) Charlie & Armand got married at the same venue that The Hubby and I did, so their beautiful wedding brought back some incredibly special memories for us :)

Charlie & Armand have the most beautiful love story, and a relationship that has truly stood the test of time, distance and hardship. Armand has been serving in the British army, and Charlie stayed home to study and to teach. I have the greatest respect and admiration for relationships that only survive, but manage to flourish, over distance and time :) To see these two reunited was very emotional for me, and I didn't even know them for the length of their relationship ;)

Their wedding day was incredibly beautiful and filled with emotion - it is such a joy to know that they get to start this next chapter of their lives hand in hand, no more 'goodbyes' :)

The thing that stood out the most for me over the entire day was how each of them clearly feels they are the more fortunate for having had the other brought into their lives - as we were walking up the stairs to get her dress on Charlie told me '...I couldn't have picked a more perfect man if I'd had a catalogue to choose from...'. I think you are both so blessed to have found your perfect match in each other and it is incredibly beautiful and moving to see two people so wondrously happy together :)

Charlie & Armand, thank you so much for choosing me to capture one of the most special days of your lives! I pray that this next adventure will bring the greatest of blessings & happiness :)

Much love

Charlie's precious mom Natasha did most of the decor and setup :)
 Charlie's beautiful accessories :)

 Charlie's princess dress :)
The sweetest bunch of bridesmaids :) The hustle and bustle of the room where they were getting ready was awesome :)
 I had a bit of a private 'moment' with Charlie's shoes ;)

Charlie's mom helped with her makeup :)
 Hehe love this ;)
Charlie's maid of honor Amori helped her into her dress :)
 So beautiful and elegant :)

 Ballerina arches :)

 Oh Charlie you are perfection!

Armand's dad helped him get into his uniform :)
And taught him a 'sword salute' (please correct me if that's the wrong term ;) )
Nothing like a man in uniform!!

Charlie's grandpa walked her down the aisle :)
Thanks hubby for getting this one!

 Another hubby shot :)

They both wrote their own beautiful vows :)

Armand was a little overwhelmed, and it was beautiful :) I shed a few tears of my own

 Love this :)

The ring didn't want to go on ;)

Charlie's little brother Viaud, had a blast with the bubbles!
 The handsome men!

 Such a good-looking bunch!

 Teehee ;)

Armand was a little terrified ;)

Tapas-style food - perfect for a hot day!

We went over to Lourensford for their couple photos - and there were BLOSSOMS!!!!

Gah! Too too beautiful lovely lady!

The most beautiful golden light :)

These two were game for anything - lying on the ground, running around barefoot, love it :)

Charlie then let down her beautiful tresses (literally) for the rest :)
This light made my heart sing :)
Not as much as their joy and exhilaration though ;)

Just joy and happiness in each others company :)

Charlie was super keen to do a lying down shot - love these!
 By hubby :)
 Stunner!

And hubby graciously hoisted me to his shoulders for this one!

These are some of my favorite ring shots ever! After all, it's not every day one gets a sword to balance rings on!

 More Charlie loveliness :)

The reception marquee looked even more beautiful all lit up :)
Cutting the cake with the sword!!!

There was a second bouquet toss as the first one was caught by a gentleman ;)

  1. Tiffs these are mindblowing. I especially LOVE the ringshots on the sword and the end of the couple shoot where Charlie 'let down her tresses', ooh and the lying down shots - in fact I have too many favourites to mention them all. It looked like a fairytale wedding (like a REAL LIFE fairytale)- what a beautiful couple and touching story. May they enjoy a long and happy marriage and never be seperated for too long! :)
